Merchant Job Change Guide
- Head to Alberta and enter the Merchant Guild in the southwest corner (alberta 36,42). Inside talk to Chief Mahnsoo (Merchant) behind the desk to sign up to become a Merchant.

- He will ask you to pay a fee of 1,000 Zeny before beginning the quest. You can pay half (500z) before and half (500z) after the quest if you lack the funds. You will also be given a serial number and destination. Do not forget them! The serial number is randomly chosen between one of these:
- 2485741
- 2328137
- 2989396
- 2191737
- 3012685
- 3487372
- 3318702
- 3543625

This is where you should get your product from. You must give him the correct serial number, he will accept any number as mentioned previously. Here is a list of possible designation and serial numbers:
- Kafra Worker in the Former Swordman Association in Prontera ( (Serial #: 2485741 or 2328137) )
- Man in Mage Guild in Geffen (Serial #: 2989396 or 2191737)
- Java Dullihan, the Dyermaker in Morroc (Serial #: 3012685 or 3487372)
- Kafra worker in Byalan island, Chief Mahnsoo will also throw in a personal letter. (Serial #: 3318702 or 3543625)
If in any case you drop / lost your del box, talk to him again without a del box in your inventory. He will tell you to talk to Chief Mahnsoo and start the test all over again.
The destination is one of the following:
- Izlude Dungeon (Bylan Island) - Kafra Employee (106,58)
- Prontera - Southeastern corner, Kafra Employee (248,42)
- Geffen - Mage Guild in the northwest building, to the man with glasses (in: 155,122)
- Morocc - Dyemaker's house in the northeastern house, he is located in the room directly to the right after you enter the house (271,269)
- Head down into the warehouse and speak with the warehouse supervisor (alberta\_in 28,29). You must the enter the serial number as well as the destination of the parcel. The supervisor will give you a parcel even if you enter the wrong serial number and/or destination, but the receiving NPC will not accept it, thus requiring the player to start over.
- Deliver the parcel to the appropriate NPC. You will receive a Receipt from them if step 3 was done correctly.
- Return to Alberta and present the supervisor with the receipt, then speak with Chief Mahnsoo again to become a Merchant.
